i have my windows 7 installation dvd and i have the dvd iso. i started the windows 7 installation from my windows 7 dvd. i selected the option to upgrade an existing installation. i selected the upgrade option. i then selected the option to replace the files.
i have a laptop with windows 7 home basic on it and in the past i've been able to download the iso file for a oem version of windows 7, and burn it to a dvd. when i try to load the windows 7 dvd, it doesn't have an option for oem. the only option i have is windows 7 home basic and windows 7 pro. i need windows 7 home basic because the laptop is very old and i don't need the extra features of windows 7 pro. if i download the iso file, burn it to a dvd, and then try to install it, it doesn't have an option for oem. i tried searching but i'm not finding anything. please help me
hello there, i am trying to install windows 7 home basic on my acer aspire one a110 netbook. i downloaded the iso file of windows 7 home basic (50.0.22.8). i followed the steps of: "connect the device to a power source. open windows device manager." under the "other" tab, i see: "acer aspire one usb device (ao901). select it and right click." from there, i was able to load the iso file. i did this, then i put the windows 7 dvd in my dvd writer, and created a bootable dvd using the iso file (using the bios). i then booted up the netbook, and the only option i was able to load was the windows 7 home basic option. i then booted up the netbook, and had it install windows, but i am getting a blue screen (i've attached it in a zip file). please help me with this issue. 3d9ccd7d82
