Quality is of utmost importance to me.  All the art that I create is made with the highest quality materials that are available to me.  Each painting is created with proffessional grade paints that are rated higly for lightfastness.  I use archival quality, acid free watercolor paper for collage elements.  I choose high quality stretched canvas, wood panels, gessoboard and clayboard as my surface materials.  All the paintings have finished edges which means they are ready to hang without the need for a picture frame. The canvases that I create are gallery wrapped and finished with a painted edge.  Similarly, the wood panels that I use are either painted or wood stained on the cradle to give a more substantial apprearance.   All of my paintings are signed.  Every piece I create is finished with Liquitex proffessional grade protective varnish.  This layer helps protect the pigments from harmful UV rays as well as dirt and smoke.  Each painting is ready to hang with either a wire hanger or, metal hanging element.

It is not recomended that you hang this or, any painting or drawing in direct sunlight.  Harmfull UV rays can degrade color over time.  Even paintings that are created with superior quality, proffessional grade paints which hold up well to sunlight can fade when exposed to intense UV rays.  All of my paintings are varnished with a UV protective finish but, it will not block all of the damaging effects from the sun.  Also, it is recomended that you limit the amount of physical handeling and touching of the surface.  Natural oils from skin can stain and degrade paint over time.  Clean surface minimally with a dry, lint free cloth.  If cleaning is nescessary, never use solvents.
